Ce \u00ab\u00a0disciple\u00a0\u00bb de Dizzy Gillespie et Clifford Brown a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t sa carri\u00e8re discographique. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Il s&rsquo;est fait conna\u00eetre notamment au sein des <strong>Jazz Messengers<\/strong> du batteur <strong>Art Blakey<\/strong> avec le quel il a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs enregistrements historiques dont le classique <em>\u00a0\u00bb Moanin&rsquo;<\/em> \u00ab\u00a0. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Morgan a \u00e9galement compos\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Sidewinder\">The Sidewinder\u00a0\u00bb<\/a>, un blues devenu une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence du style \u00ab\u00a0<strong><em>soul jazz<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb des ann\u00e9es 1960. Ce titre paru sur l&rsquo;album \u00e9ponyme conna\u00eetra un grand succ\u00e8s commercial. Ce grand trompettiste conna\u00eetra une fin tragique en disparaissant pr\u00e9matur\u00e9ment \u00e0 33 ans, assassin\u00e9 par sa femme dans un club de jazz New-Yorkais &#8230; &nbsp;
