Les très nombreuses interprétations diffèrent au niveau du rythme (tempos et phrasés) du choix des notes et intonations et des paroles (anglais ou portugais).

Joao Gilberto is not always playing bars 4, 12, 18 and 20 (depending on the melody and phrasing)…

At the end, he is playing five bars instead of the four bars indicated. Sometimes the VI- chord lasts four beats instead of the two beats indicated which gives a nice effect before resolving on the I-.
